Increase the flavor of any meal with this super simple Chimichurri Sauce – made with fresh cilantro, parsley, garlic and red onion.

Chimichurri sauce is something I love to make in the summer! It is like pesto’s cousin. You get fresh herbs, but you also get a kick of garlic & vinegar. It is a tangy sauce that is so delicious. You can literally put it on anything for an extra kick.
What is Chimichurri Sauce
Chimichurri sauce is like a flavor explosion in your mouth. It is a staple of Latin American food! It originated in Argentina and is used in Argentinian, Uruguayan, Paraguayan and Brazilian cuisines.
You have fresh herbs, red onion & jalapeño combined with clean-tasting olive oil and tangy red wine vinegar. A combination made in heaven.
This sauce definitely isn’t for the faint of heart (or faint of taste buds). If you want a sauce with a bang then this is for you.

Oh my goodness. This is so divine. I added fresh corn instead of cabbage for a crunch since that’s all we had. But 10/10! The sauce is tangy and perfectly balanced. Thank you!
Oops I meant to leave this comment on the potato taco page but my review stands – this sauce is boss!
Ohhhhhh. I love the idea of adding corn! So glad you liked it Liz!
