This 2-Ingredient Vegan Queso takes 5 minutes to make and is the ultimate crowd pleaser. Serve this vegan dip with your favorite toppings & tortilla chips!
There is nothing better than a bowl of warm vegan queso – well, there kinda is – warm vegan queso that only requires 2-ingredients and 5 minutes! And that is exactly what we are making today.
This vegan queso is creamy, gooey, goodness that you (and anyone you share it with) are going to absolutely love. It is slightly addicting, so I recommend that you do share it with someone so you don’t end up eating the whole bowl š
How to Make 2-Ingredient Vegan Queso
There really isn’t much to making this vegan queso – I mean, how could there be? It’s only 2 ingredients. All you need to grab is vegan cream cheese and a jar of salsa verde. Yep, that’s all we’re using to make this creamy dip.
Now, all salsa verdes are not made equally. So I recommend you start with equal amounts of vegan cream cheese and salsa verde then add more salsa to taste. This will keep you from having an overly salty dip. And you can always add water to thin out the dip as needed.
To heat up the vegan queso just add your ingredients to a pan over medium heat and stir until smooth. *You could also heat this up in the microwave, but I prefer the stove.
What Toppings to Use
I went with a combo of green chiles and cilantro to top this off. But you could also add jalapeƱos, hot sauce, green onions – whatever your heart desires.
You could also go topping-free. I mean this dip is good enough you don’t have to have toppings. But why not, right?

This is so delicious! I made it last night couldnāt stop eating it.
What do you recommend as an alternative to vegan cream cheese? I’m not able to get my hands on such thing. Love
Hi Nicole! I’ve used white beans, and it turns out pretty tasty! You might need to add a few more flavors, especially salt, because the beans will be much more beans than the cream cheese! You can also add a little nutritional yeast to add a bit of cheesy flavor. Good luck!
Hi! I went to Whole Foods and they have cream cheese made by Tofutti…itās really good.
