Bang Bang Tofu Tacos

These Bang Bang Tofu Tacos have the perfect amount of spice, creaminess and crunch. The ultimate spicy vegan taco idea!

These Bang Bang Tofu Tacos have it all. Crispy tofu pieces, creamy & spicy sauce, avocado and romaine. The best of everything you want from a vegan taco. A super easy vegan dinner idea that everyone will love!
Step One: Make the Tofu
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Add the soy sauce, oil, corn starch and white pepper to a bowl and whisk to combine. Add the tofu and gently toss to coat. Spread out on the baking sheet, making sure that the tofu pieces aren’t touching. Place in the oven and bake for 25 minutes, flipping halfway.

Step Two: Make the Sauce
For the sauce you will need:
- vegan mayo
- sweet chili sauce
- sriracha
- lime juice
Add everything to a bowl and mix to combine. Give it a taste and adjust the seasonings as needed.


Step Three: Assemble
To assemble, layer flour tortillas with romaine, avocado and tofu. Top it off with chopped cilantro and lime wedges.

Bang Bang Tofu Tacos
Ingredients
- 1 15-ounce block firm tofu drained & pressed
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon corn starch
- 1 teaspoon white pepper
FOR THE BANG BANG SAUCE
- 1/2 cup vegan mayo
- 1/3 cup sweet chili sauce
- 2-3 tablespoons sriracha to taste
- 1/2 lime juiced
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Add the soy sauce, oil, corn starch and white pepper to a bowl and whisk to combine. Add the tofu and gently toss to coat. Spread out on the baking sheet, making sure that the tofu pieces aren't touching. Place in the oven and bake for 25 minutes, flipping halfway.
- While the tofu is cooking, prepare the sauce. Combine the bang bang sauce ingredients in a bowl and stir to combine.
- Remove the tofu from the oven and toss with half of the bang bang sauce.
- To assemble, layer the tortillas with romaine, avocado, tofu and cilantro.
