Make your vegan thanksgiving one to remember with this Vegan Thanksgiving Dinner Plan. From the stuffing to the gravy, I have you covered.
We’re taking a break from our normal Weekly Dinner Plans to put together the perfect Vegan Thanksgiving meal!
And we’re not just stopping at recipes.
I’m going to be sharing all of my vegan thanksgiving must-haves.
From the must-have ingredients to the cooking tools I love, I’ve got you covered!
So without further ado, let’s get into everything you need for an amazing holiday meal!
MUST HAVE INGREDIENTS
I’ve talked about this time and time again. But it is truly the one ingredient that will make your thanksgiving a success. This Better Than Bouillon No Chicken Base makes broth that tastes just like traditional chicken broth. This is where all the flavor comes from for your gravy and your stuffing. You can get it at Whole Foods or online here.
What is a rich holiday meal without some fat? And when it comes to vegan butter I am on the Earth Balance train. It is the only non-dairy butter I buy and it is sold at pretty much every grocery store.
MUST HAVE COOKING TOOLS
I talked about this in my Mashed Potato recipe, but I am a major believer in hand-mashing your potatoes. I think electric mixers can make the potatoes over-whipped really easily. So, my personal preference is to use a masher like this one.
Baking dishes might be an obvious must-have, but having enough baking dishes is the important part to remember. You may think you have enough, until you actually start cooking and realize you’re one or two short. Having a few extras never hurt anyone. Plus, you can find affordable baking dishes everywhere – Target, Ikea, Amazon.
RECIPES
Over the past few weeks I have been sharing all of my favorite recipes with you. Now is the time to put everything together to make the perfect meal.
Traditional French Bread Vegan Stuffing
Now, in my house this is where my meal stops. This is plenty of food and everything I have always loved about thanksgiving.
But, if you are in the market for a vegan meat replacement, my recommendation would be anything from Gardein.
And that’s it!
I hope that I have shared enough of my favorite recipes, tips and tricks so that you have the most amazing thanksgiving ever. I can’t wait to see all of your pics on Instagram! Be sure to tag me if you make any of my recipes – I’d love to see!
