This Red Wine Vinaigrette is the easiest and tastiest dressing to make at home.
Like seriously.
Like…for reals.
Like you need to go make it right now.
Well maybe not right, right now. But this weekend for sure.
This dressing is perfect for salads, to marinate tofu in or to bake veggies with. It is tangy, savory and flavorful.
And all you will need is a whopping 5 ingredients:
- olive oil
- red wine vinegar
- fresh garlic
- dried oregano
- pepper
Throw everything in a bowl and mix it together (or put it in a blender if you don’t feel like chopping garlic).
Done.
It is so simple, but the flavor is eye-popping good.

Hey,
This looks simple and easy to make, I was looking for a dressing to keep in fridge as a go to for salad.
Can you tell me how long it will last in the fridge?
Many thanks and Happy New Year!
Philip
There really isn’t anything perishable in the dressing – other than than the chopped garlic – so it will definitely last for a couple weeks. If you needed it to last longer you could even swap out the fresh garlic for powder – you wouldn’t even need to refrigerate it if you did it that way. For best flavor I always go with fresh though. Hope that helps AND have a Happy New Year!
