Add all of the dressing ingredients to a large bowl. Mash the capers with a fork, stir and adjust seasonings as needed.
Add the chickpeas and mash with a fork until the desired consistency is reached. Add the onion & romaine and toss to combine.
Toast the bread. Add some of the caesar salad to each roll and enjoy.

To make this even easier, add all of the dressing ingredients to a food processor and blend until smooth. Add the drained chickpeas and pulse until everything is combined. Transfer to a bowl and add the onion and romaine.
