Add the jarred marinara, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, sugar, salt, pepper and Tabasco sauce to a large pot on medium low heat.
Add water until sauce reaches your desired consistency. You don't need to have an exact measurement, just no more than 1 cup.
In a saute pan, add olive oil over medium heat.
After your olive oil is heated (but not smoking), add garlic and saute until fragrant.
Add chopped bell pepper to the pan and saute for 2-5 minutes, stirring frequently.
Add chopped green onion to the pan and saute for 1-2 minutes.
Add sauteed veggies to the sauce mixture and stir to combine.Turn the heat to low and simmer sauce for 1-4 hours, stirring frequently.
Serve with pasta of choice and enjoy.
