Vegan Pesto Mayo

  • 1 cup fresh basil packed
  • 1 cup walnuts*
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/3 cup vegan mayo
  • salt and pepper to taste


  1. Add the first five ingredients to a food processor and blend on high until smoothie and combined, scraping down the sides as needed.
  2. Add salt and pepper, and pulse to combine. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
  3. Add to your favorite sandwich and enjoy!

Recipe Notes

*For a smoother texture, use 1/2 cup of walnuts instead. I wanted this to be a really nutty and chunky pesto.
